Every composition presents a unique opportunity to tell a story while showcasing the individual style and musical roots of its creator. As a composer, I strive to highlight the relationship between melody and harmony, just as I strive to serve the message of the music while marking it with my specific, artistic fingerprint.
"FLOWER GRENADE" ORIGINAL COMPOSITION INFUSING GOSPEL, JAZZ AND CLASSICAL
Directed by Jordan Battiste, the video for my latest single, “Flower Grenade,” captures the electricity of this genre-defying track—a combination of my classical training with the rhythms and groove of world music. “Flower Grenade,” recorded and mixed by Chris Parks at Kaleidoscope Studios, combines the talents of an internationally accomplished powerhouse band, featuring Andre Cleghorn on bass, Daiquan Davis on drums and Senfaub Stone on percussion. “Flower Grenade” is available on iTunes, Spotify and all other musical platforms.
“METAMORPHOSIS” ORIGINAL PIANO SOLO COMPOSITION
Here’s an original piano composition titled "Metamorphosis," which showcases my love for blending classical and gospel styles. “Metamorphosis” represents the musical evolution of my beginnings in New York City. Appropriately, this impromptu performance was filmed and directed by Jordan Battiste in the heart of New York City—Times Square.
COMPOSING FOR HILLARY CLINTON “HEAR HER SONG” INNITIATIVE
I was recently commissioned as a composer in The Canales Project "Hear Her Song" - music directed by Kurt Crowley (MD for Hamilton on Broadway) to compose a song written for Hillary Clinton. "Hear Her Song" is an initiative that brings together poetry, music, and the stories of female leaders who have inspired positive change in their communities.

One of my greatest passions is performing. My partnership with AñaVaña allows me to fulfill this love of performance, in many forms—as lead vocalist, composer, front woman and pianist. Our debut album, released by Australian Zip Records, is available on iTunes. This single combines a piano-driven melody with a danceable, reggae beat.

Partnering with AñaVaña presented a wonderful opportunity to feed my love of performing onstage. In this rock-influenced single, available our debut album, I play the roles of vocalist, composer, pianist and front woman. This album allowed us to tour the northern United States and have our songs played on MTV, in addition to earning us recognition from Billboard.
